DESCRIPTION:Spring Sundays at Cosmo continues… \nCMS Chorus and Reverberations Handbells join together for an afternoon of moving and exciting repertoire that highlights the talents and unique sounds of the human voice and English handbells. You will hear songs from Canada and the British Isles\, Oscar Galian’s Saleso\, Art Maddox’s Kumquatrain Express\, Andrew Balfour’s Ambe\, and a collection of songs from Liverpool’s Fab Four: The Beatles! \nThe Reverberations\, under the baton of Tammy-Jo Mortensen will “Go the Distance” (from Hercules)\, perhaps into “Pan’s Forest” (Edmonton composer Dorothy Kelker)\, or maybe we’ll take a train ride (Chattanooga Choo Choo)\, or a ship (Pirates of the Caribbean) or maybe we’ll just relax in nature (Introspection)\, by former Edmonton\, now BC composer John Hooper) and celebrate spring (Now the Green Blade Rises and also All Creatures of Our God and King) \nSunday\, April 27th – Concert at 2:30 pm (doors at 1:30 pm) at Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre\, 8426 Gateway Blvd. Edmonton \nTickets (online): Adults $20\, Students $12. Children under 5 free. $25/$15 at the door.
