Northern Lights Watercolour Landscape with Francis Marte
Do you want to learn how to paint this Northern Lights in watercolour? The instructor will show you an easy method to paint this popular subject, that almost paints itself, using wet-on-wet free-flowing technique. The workshop will be done in three steps – painting the Northern Lights, distant cityscape and the snow filled hay bales in the foreground. You will also learn how to use masking fluid, splattering and the use of some gouache.
We will use several photo references that you can choose to your liking. The instructor will guide you step-by-step with demos and useful critiques so you can continue to paint these scenery on your future watercolour paintings!
About the Instructor:
Francis Marte is a realistic watercolourist with years of professional experience. He has participated in various exhibits and has been featured in international watercolour publications. Francis possesses a strong sense of artistry, consistently displayed in all his art pieces. He is a well regarded watercolour instructor for emerging watercolourists.

Cost: $75 ($50 + $25 Supply Fee)
Class Limit: 12 Students, Beginners Welcome!
Please note: Most supplies are included in the supply fee. Instructor will provide watercolour paint, masking fluid, and photo reference. The Paint Spot will provide watercolour paper (Arches 300lb cold press), watercolour brushes (round #2, round #12, & flat #12), 2 palettes, kneadable eraser, masking tape, mounting board.
