True North Soap Bar Presents: Intro to Cold Process Soap Making
March 9 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
We are pleased to begin offering soap classes!
This introductory soap class is using the cold process method. You will have a choice of 4-5 different scents.
What you will learn:
- A brief history of soap making
- Lye safety and handling
- Basic steps and processes of soap making
- Herbs and other natural additives
- How to create your own recipe’s
What you will take home:
- A full loaf of soap, which is approximately 10-12 bars, including the wooden soap mold with silicone liner.
- The class recipe
- Instructions to follow at home (pdf)
- Extra supplies and materials if you desire (at additional costs)
