We would like to acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose ancestors’ footsteps have marked this territory for centuries such as: the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Blackfoot, as well as the Métis and the Inuit, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our vibrant community.
