The Polish Canadian Women’s Society of Edmonton wishes to share Polish culture with
the community at large. We believe that music is an international language, and we
know that the music of Frederick Chopin is familiar to many. Chopin in the Park is a
marvelous way to enjoy Chopin’s music live, played by four local professional musicians
while enjoying summer in Edmonton.

Chopin in the Park features pianists Howard Van, Martin Kesuma, Zuzana Simurdova,
and Mikołaj Warszyński who will perform the music of Chopin including mazurkas,
ballades, scherzos, poloniases, nocturnes, etudes, and preludes.
Chopin in the Park is a unique opportunity for the community at large to relax outdoors
and at the same time learn a little more about Polish culture through the music of
Frederick Chopin played live by local professional pianists.
