Catch the streetcar right on Whyte Avenue!

The May long weekend will be the first for a new streetcar platform at Whyte Avenue, between 102 and 103 Streets. The extension of the High Level Bridge Streetcar line has been many years in the making and the Edmonton Radial Railway Society (ERRS) is inviting Edmontonians to come celebrate the new platform with a weekend of free activities and entertainment.

The stop at the streetcar garage behind the ATB Financial Arts Barns remains open, so you can jump on or off wherever you’re headed in Old Strathcona.

Fares to ride between Whyte Avenue and downtown are $4 one-way and $7 round trip for everyone 6+ and kids 5-and-under ride for free. A family pass for five people is $25. Fares are cash only and pre-booking is not available.
