Africa Day Song & Drum Circle Celebration

Africa Day Song & Drum Circle Celebration – an interactive musical community event featuring music from Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

The Cosmopolitan Music Society, in collaboration with the African Music Academy and the Soul Song Circle Singers, cordially invites you to an engaging and uplifting community music event celebrating the diverse African traditions of Edmonton community members.

The program features Amakwaya, the Soul Song Circle Singers, and special guests Mbira Renaissance.

Proceeds from ticket sales will support the African Music Academy of Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering African music education in elementary classrooms across Canada and beyond.
