The Paint Spot Presents: Make a Figurative Sculpture
May 24 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us for a hands-on workshop inspired by Swiss sculptor Alfredo Giacometti. Learn to create elongated human forms using foil, clay, and everyday materials, with techniques in motion, balance, and finishes like patina effects. Led by seasoned sculptor Herman, this class is perfect for beginners and includes tips on presentation and metal electroforming. Add a unique sculpture to your garden! Students will be introduced to the medium of foil/clay paint, finishes and coloured patina effects. Herman will discuss presentation and authenticity when it comes to completing your projects. The class will also include a Q/A talk on the process of metal electroforming your sculptures.
