Step Back Into Time: Historic Edmonton & Doors Open 2026

Knox Church has been a centrepiece of the Old Strathcona area since 1907. Join members of the congregation on Saturday, July 11th for a step back in time. Listen to a 15 minute presentation of the History of Old Strathcona, hear a pipe organ demonstration, take part in a guided building tour and enjoy the vibe as some local musicians “jazz it up” on the corner. Knox is a humble building when compared to some of the many beautiful churches in Edmonton, but it has always been a church of the working people holding a special place in our city’s history and future.
