What To Expect

The OSBA typically hosts two general meetings every year. The Spring General Meeting (SGM) provides an opportunity to review the Annual Report from the previous year and for us to speak to upcoming projects. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) requires members to vote on the proposed budget for the upcoming year and vote in new or returning members to the Board of Directors.

Participation and engagement from business members is highly encouraged so that we can continue to provide the necessary programs and supports that directly benefit our membership!

The next AGM will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 6:30pm.

  • Please pre-register for the meeting below or follow this link.
  • Review meeting package including agenda, board nomination forms, proposed 2023 budget & priorities and OSBA governance guidelines here.
  • We are asking OSBA members to also complete a 25 question member survey before September 30. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes and your feedback will help us to understand member priorities for the organization so that we can continue to best serve our BIA in the future! Take the survey.

If you have any questions about the meeting, or are unable to attend but want more information or to request the meeting recording please reach out to info@oldstrathcona.ca!

The last SGM was held on May 18, 2022. Please reach out to info@oldstrathcona.ca to request a link to the meeting recording.
