General Meetings
The OSBA hosts two general member meetings each year: A Spring General Meeting (May) and fall Annual General Meeting (October). The Annual General Meeting (AGM) requires members to vote on the proposed budget for the upcoming year and vote in new or returning members to the Board of Directors.
What To Expect at General Meetings
Annual General Meeting (AGM):
- Elect and vote* for the Board of Directors
- Review and vote* on the Proposed Budget for the upcoming year
- *Note: Only BIA members are eligible to vote for board members.
- Receive updates on ongoing initiatives and learn about up coming projects
- Network with fellow business members, board members, and OSBA staff
Spring General Meeting (SGM):
- Receive updates on ongoing initiatives and learn about up coming projects
- Network with fellow business members, board members, and OSBA staff
- Listen to and engage with panel speakers and workshops, as planned
- Review and vote on organization updates and changes (as required)*
- *Note: Only BIA members are eligible to vote.
2026 Spring General Meeting
Wednesday, May 6, 2026

The Spring General Meeting (SGM) provides an opportunity for members to get updates on current projects, network with fellow business members, board members, and OSBA staff, and participate in constructive conversations surrounding OSBA’s strategic priorities. Participation and engagement from business members is highly encouraged so that we can continue to provide the necessary programs and supports that directly benefit our membership.
This year’s SGM will begin with a 30-minute business meeting, starting at 6:30PM, followed by an hour-long workshop, providing BIA members an opportunity to share constructive thoughts, feedback, and ideas with the OSBA.
👉Pre-registration is required for members or their assigned representative for this event. If a business owner is assigning a representative to attend on their behalf please provide the information of your proxy using the form below. Registration and proxy designations will be accepted until 9AM on May 6, 2026.
