It’s baaaaack! We’re so excited to have Ice on Whyte in our ‘hood from January 23 to February 2.
Join us in McIntyre Park for an incredible winter experience this year! Ice on Whyte hosts 10 teams of professional artists who work outside in our winter climate to create incredible works of winter art, through ice carving.
Take a stroll through their finished works and marvel at the artistry, then follow it up with a drink at the Ice Bar, or try your hand at ice sculpting for yourself. The L’il & Big Chipper programs have folks of all ages trying their hand at being an ice artist!
They’ve also got tons of programming planned throughout the festival. From ice DJs to pop up carving demos to karaoke at the Ice Bar, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
We highly recommend sticking around and enjoying our ‘hood, and when you buy your tickets online you have the option to Complete Your Old Strathcona Experience by opting in for great deals on dining, entertainment and activities during the run of the festival. Intrigued? Come on down and check it out! Tickets are super affordable, and it’s a great date night, family outing, or a fun winter activity.
