Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market is Edmonton’s original, indoor farmers’ market. Located just off historic Whyte Ave, we’ve been operating every Saturday since 1983. The market is activating the Strathcona Back Street, located right across from the main market doors on 83rd Avenue this summer! Enjoy outdoor vendors and food stalls during regular market hours.
This event will run from 10am to 6pm, showcasing art created by Edmontonians on the topic of climate change, with speeches and performances at 1:00pm. The Jams Quartet will perform Sointu Alto's composition MASS EXTINCTION at 1:30pm.

The 2022 Whyte Avenue Art Walk returns to the streets of Old Strathcona July 8 – 10, 2022. People are invited to buy art directly from the artists. All artists, brave enough to share their work, are welcome to participate. The Art Walk is a non-juried event that attracts professional artists, amateurs, and students.
